Work Experience Tissue Recovery Technician Baton Rouge Regional Eye Bank - Baton Rouge, LA October 2020 to Present I work as a recovery tissue technician for the Baton Rouge Eye Bank. I surgically remove corneas from donors who have recently passed away, and the corneas are then able to be transplanted to restore sight. I have a high level of knowledge on sterility and aseptic technique, and 10 months experience in an operating room environment with full PPE on.
Equity Research Assistant LSU Vet School EHSP - Baton Rouge, LA June 2020 to January 2021 I previously held a position at the LSU Vet School’s Equine Health Services Program, where I helped conduct research with Mr. Mike Keowen. We previously investigated the effect of CBD on horses, and I was responsible for feeding, data entry, and assisting the on-site vets with injured horses.
