Note: Also superimposed over a later shot on the screen is the text of the letter sent to Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau requesting assistance because of an existing state of “apprehended insurrection,” the magic words that led to the first and only peacetime imposition of the War Measures Act (1914) in the early morning hours of October 16th, 1970....
