ABSTRACT

Microsoft Corporation is the company which is responsible for the introduction of windows based operating systems for different type of devices. Microsoft had released many operating systems for clients, servers, and mobiles. This book covers the clients based operating systems. The purpose of writing this book is to keep aware the public and students with the new technology of Microsoft Corporation as well as to introduce Windows 10 as a new technology operating system. Chapter 1 of the book covers list of client based operating systems developed by Microsoft. Chapter 2 concerns with Windows 1.0 its features and details. Chapter 3 covers the topics of Windows 2.0. Chapter 4 covers Windows 2.1x. Chapter 5 covers Windows 3.0. Chapter 6 covers Windows 3.1x. Chapter 7 covers Windows NT 3.1. Chapter 8 covers Windows NT 3.5. Chapter 9 covers Windows NT 3.51. Chapter 10 covers Windows 95. Chapter 11 covers Windows NT 4.0. Chapter 12 covers Windows 98. Chapter 13 covers Windows 2000. Chapter 14 covers Windows ME. Chapter 15 describes Windows XP. Chapter 16 gives details of Windows Vista. Chapter 17 describes Windows 7. Chapter 18 covers Windows 8. Chapter 19 covers Windows 8.1. Finally, Chapter 20 covers Windows 10 (Latest) Operating System by Microsoft. The whole book is devoted to complete description of the aspects involved.
