Description

* Pet allowance should not be a problem for rental. * Respect Canadian culture and people - install an obligation for companies/ stores to speak / communicate in English at least. Some places exclude all customers, but their culture. * If affordability includes housing and rentals, I have nothing more to add. Accessibility. Affordability Health care Transportation Infrastructure Transportation routes Recreational facilities Affordability and environment are definitely concerns that will raise in impact over the years, the sooner it gets addressed, the better. Affordable housing. Foreign Investments Affordable living Anything in regards to the opiod crisis (access to naloxone, injection spots, etc.) arts and culture Business and Investment Development. Childcare childcare affordability Cleanliness and other most of imported issues related are mentioned above already. Climate justice, reconciliation with the Indigenous nations whose land we are on cooperation and incorporation of Indigenous rights, recognizing the unceded territory Cultural integrarion plan Downtown eastside has to progress at a more rapid pace, it is completely out of hand. Drug abuse Drugs and homeless situation. Economic development Education Education Education and cost of living for youth. it's too expensive. Investment tracking over housing Foreigners purchasing real estate Gambling and money laundering Help the homeless find a better and safer place to live in Homeless community Homeless in Vancouver Homeless situation in Vancouver Drug crisis Affordable housing Homeless support and facilities Homelessness / Mental Health Issues / Drug Abuse Issues Homelessness and displacement of those who are homeless due to continuing development. Homelessness and drug rehab facilities ! Homelessness, poverty Homelessness. Housing Affordability is the main one I‰'d like to see addressed. Housing and environmental sustainability Housing Retirement Housing, homelessness, and addiction How Vancouver will become more environmentally friendly and when it will become net zero. how will the city meet the Paris climate targets that Canada has agreed to I am concerned about how freedom of speech and religion will continue. I am a firm believe that each person has a right to their own beliefs so I want to ensure that there are places of worship still available and in tact for those who need it. I think it is already very encompassing I think it's good with these ones above. i want free parking I want to see properly funded community spaces such as libraries to continue . I want to see the problem of open drug use addressed. Health care and homelessness are also major issues for this city. I want , strongly, to see how local facitilues are being kept and maintained. Water is a vital resources, how do you plan to manage I would hope that the neighbourhood development does not mean that we are evicting anyone, or gentrifying any areas. Everybody had a right to living space. I would like the Plan to address a long-term resolution to foreign buyers / the lack of affordable housing. With the housing market being what it is now, coupled with a lack of reliable and efficient transportation to the suburbs surrounding Vancouver, what will happen to the working-class? How will this affect our economy? Will we struggle to fill part time/minimum-wage positions as people are unable to justify the long commutes into Vancouver? I would like them to address homelessness I would like to see at risk youth become more of a priority as well as homelessness

I would like to see more environmental initiative on municipal levels. I would like to see more work on metro train route lines I would like to see the plan address more of the environmental as well as social aspects of daily life. For example: creating more resources to keep industrial companies products from impacting the atmosphere and building infrastructure that assists senior citizens (recreational centres for them) I would like to see the plan. Major issues for myself are housing affordability for all citizens (including those currently living on the streets). Transit and roadway congestion. The opioid epidemic and creating a solution to help those struggling with all addictions. Immigrant issues Immigration and job availability. In my opinion, the Government should see carefully to drug problems because I can realized on the street that that problem has increased recently and I think it will be out of control. Inclusivity/cultural sensitivity Job development? Job opportunity Jobs Lowering property tax and making parking more affordable. Maybe they could also address social issues like the homelessness. Mental Health issues especially among the youth generation More environment sustainability More programs to encourage helping out our parts of society who need it the most. More opportunities for people to work with, children, homeless, seniors, disabled etc... Need more density and housing for families and levels matched to incomes. No more luxury condos. Have new buildings zoned so that working class people can afford to buy the places; there's enough multi-millionaires in Vancouver we don't need to be attracting more. This city should be affordable to the people raised here. Lower property taxes for business units downtown so that every store doesn‰Ûªt have to be a chain. Opioid crisis Over dose crisis. Parking Parking and transportation routes including foot traffic Parking, better walkways, more clear street signs, People that would actually like to buy a house and not just a condo or townhouse Reduce noise by laws within the city, to allow for a more fun, outgoing and event filled summers (Street events) Renewable energy Ride sharing Safety Safety Issues Schools Social issues such as addressing homelessness and poverty levels Sports Standard of living Subsidized affordable housing for students and young professionals Support and awareness around mental health and illness Sustainability sustainability

The city is becoming unlivable for younger locals, struggling to make ends meet with the rising cost of living and stagnant wages. We need affirmative action now, in order to make sure our children will have homes and inclusive communities. The city has for far too long been concerned with making a quick dollar from developers. Gentrification is destroying the beautiful communities that have been cultivated over the years. We need to see an immediate stop on the construction of "luxury units" they are empty, unwanted and a slap in the face of the working class of this city. Make Vancouver liveable again. Stop listening to developers and landlords and start listening to the children.

Affordability The Climate Crisis, and what we as a city can do to better ourselves and the Environment environment we live in. The environment Environment the environmental impact we have on the planet; reduction of plastic usage; Environment increase of alternatives to plastics; save the mf turtles These issues are enough to tackle. One issue that I can add is the segregation of garbage or proper discipline in disposing wastes. Environment Tourism, immigration, industrial/commercial planning Immigration Transit Operating Hours. economical Waste management and environmental development. Environment ways of reducing environmental impact Environment Wildlife, environment Environment Zoning for (pre post-secondary) educational institutions for growing population.
