Instructions for the demo session shared below:

1. It is strongly advised that you check the system requirements beforehand. The details of the system requirements are available at http://support.mettl.com/support/solutions/articles/114713-system-requirement-for-mettlassessment-platform . Please check details for ‘Web-Proctored’ Tests. 2. It is strongly advised that you go through a demo of the exam portal well in advance so as to avoid any last-minute hassle. Please note if you have already attempted this test, then this link won’t be active for you on the same email ID you used earlier. 3. The examination platform supports the following web browsers – Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (on Apple devices). You are required to ensure that your web browser is updated to the most recent version available. “Google Chrome” is most preferred. To get the System Checked please use the following URL: https://tests.mettl.com/systemcheck?i=2eqnix1m9s#/systemCheck 5. You could attend the exam from home. Please ensure that there are no loud noises or disturbance of any kind including the movement of people around you during the exam. 6. There will be a verification of your identification proof (a valid photo ID) on the portal before you are allowed access to take the exam (Allowing access takes a few minutes, so you are requested to be patient). Please ensure that you carry any of your photo identification, namely, PAN/ Aadhar/Driving License/ Passport/Voter ID with you before you sit for the exam. 7. On clicking the exam link, you may be asked to install an extension “Mettl Tests: Enable Screen Sharing”. Please install the extension. You will also be asked to allow access to your microphone and camera. Please allow the access as the test will not be allowed to start unless you do the same. The demo test in point 2 above will also take you through a check of your system and browser compatibility. 8. Once you are allowed access to the exam by the proctor, the designated proctor will monitor your progress of the test and the activities on your laptop screen in real-time. In event that the proctor believes that you have done some suspicious activity, the proctor may issue a warning and pause your exam and ask you to provide additional information such as asking you provide a 360-degree view of the exam surroundings. In case you receive more than two warnings from the live proctor, it will be deemed that you have resorted to unfair practices and the penalties as per the student manual shall apply.

EXAMINATION PROTOCOL 1.

You will not be allowed to browse the internet, or use any electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets during the exam.

Do not read the questions aloud.

3.

Don’t use any blank paper for rough works.

4.

Before going for a bio-break, please inform proctor on the chat and message again when you resume.

5.

Keep a check on your proctor chat window. We try to reach you only for important messages.

6.

Do not press the ‘F5’ key while giving the test as this will make the test end suddenly and you will not be able to continue the test.

7.

Please make sure there is enough light on your face, and you do not move away from the test screen or it is not covered/blocked by any object while giving the exam as the same shall be recorded as a red flag for ‘face not visible’.

8.

There should be no one behind you or talking to you while you are giving the exam.

9.

If It is an open book/note exam, you will be able to refer to only hard copies of your notes or the textbook. Soft copy material of any kind cannot be used Until Specified.

10. Bring your own laptop which needs to be fully charged. Please ensure that the camera and microphone of your laptop are in working condition before coming for the exam. 11. Check your Internet connectivity, as a backup arrangement, it is recommended that you make alternate arrangements.
