INTRODUCTION Mimp’s Lechon Lechon Baboy is one of the most popular traditional foods for Filipinos. It is considered to be the star in the table during fiesta, birthdays or any grand event for Filipino families. Lechon Baboy is a pork cuisine that originated in Spain; lechon is a pig that is roasted in a low hot fire over a charcoal. The dish is a popular food in other countries also. For Americans, they have their turkey during their Thanksgiving Day, but for Filipinos, they have the lechon baboy. Filipinos loves to eat meat, especially pork, it is not surprising that Filipinos has a lot of delicious, tasty, mouthwatering foods that they cook. Cebu is the most famous province in the Philippines to serve the most delicious lechon baboy. Now, not only Filipinos can enjoy the famous traditional food, even foreigners are now craving to have a bite from lechon baboy. So how is it that the famous Philippine Lechon Baboy is considered to be a world class food? There are number of reasons why it is considered to be an all-time favorite food not only in the Philippines since Filipinos are found around the world. Lechon baboy, as the main menu in every occasion, the demand of such is excessive but there are only few suppliers of the said dish. The researchers hence came up with the idea of the project but with a twist.

Summary of the Project Name of the Firm The name of the business is MIMP’S Lechon. The researchers and the proponent agreed to this name because it is catchy and easy to remember. Also, it sounds unique and uncommon. The MIMP’S comes from the researcher’s initial first names. The M stands for Mylin, I stand for Iverson, M stands for Metchel, P stands for Princess and the S stands for Sylym.
Location Mimp’s lechon will be located at Metro Dumaguete Diversion Road, Purok 5, Magatas, Sibulan. The researchers chose this place because the location is accessible to the citizens of Negros Oriental specifically to Dumaguete City which is the Metropolis and its nearby Municipalities. Also, it is accessible to all types of vehicles. Mimp’s Lechon beloved customer’s convenience is our utmost priority.
Brief description of the project The proposed project is a lechon baboy which is the most popular dish for Filipinos, and the researchers made an innovation to the present Lechon by adding some stuff inside the lechon. Mimp’s Lechon is an improvement in the preparation of roasted pig which offers more choices to customers, aside from the typical roasted pig

offered in the market. The Lechon with a twist, in which stuffing inside the lechon’s belly varies, such as shrimps, crabs, and chicken. The Mimp’s Lechon is providing the customers’ choices that will satisfy their wants and needs.
Project summary Market feasibility The Lechon food industry is considered as the center of many lucrative business enterprises today. Since most of the people love to eat this kind of food especially the children then there is really a market for the project. That the project is going to be feasible in terms of marketing point of view because the market survey reveals that 324 out of 360 respondents or 90% are in favor of establishing the proposed project.
Technical feasibility There is abundant supply of pigs especially the crabs and shrimps and other ingredients for the lechon baboy in the locality making the project very feasible. The project is going to be feasible in terms of the technical point of view because there is abundant supply of pigs in the province and the product is delicious.

Management feasibility The researcher has found out that the labor requirement of the project could be satisfied for the reason that the unemployment rate in the town is high. They also believe that there would be people who might be interested to initiate the project due to their financial capability. That the project is going to be feasible in terms of the management point of view because of the capacity and willingness of the proponents to finance the project. The number of people required for the project can be filled-up because of the availability unemployed individuals in the place. This group of individuals has shown their eagerness to be trained and get involved in the partnership.
Financial feasibility Financial consideration is the utmost important in whatever type of investment proposal. It is found in this study that the project would be requiring the amount of Eight Hundred Thousand Pesos (P 800,000.00). This is going to be allocated in all phases of project implementation. It is also seen by the researcher that the project would have a financial advantage when it comes to profitability and immediate recovery of initial investment.

Socio-economic impact The researcher believes that the project could really provide employment opportunity to unemployed individuals in the place where the proposed project is going to be established. They also believe that the income of the local government of the municipality of Sibulan could also be increased because of the tax that the project could pay. That the project is going to be feasible in terms of the socio-economic point of view because of the direct and indirect benefits it will provide not just for the proponents but as well as for the local government of Sibulan. The project would be paying sufficient amount for taxes every year which could help the government in discharging its functions and project implementation. The customers could also be benefited because of the product which is delicious and nutritious food it provides.
Introduction/Background of the Study Brief background of the study Every feast in the Philippines is not complete without the presence of the tasty roasted pig called “Lechon”. It is presented as the whole suckling pig with an apple in its mouth. The Lechon is the main attraction of a Filipino feasts such as birthdays, fiestas, wedding celebrations, and even graduation.
