MICROSOFT ACCESS HomeWork ASSIGNMENT III Note: This exercise is to be done individually. This is NOT a group project. Query I:

What is the total retail value of each of the Arthur Clarke titles at each branch? Show author name, book title, branch number, Book Price, On hand, and total retail value in your answer.

Query II:

Changing the query type of Query I to Make Table, save your answer to Query II as a new table, call this new table “ANSWER”. The “Make Table”option is found under the Design menu option next to the typically used “Select” option. Using only the newly created ANSWER table, run a query using the answer table that gives the total retail value of all Arthur Clarke books across all branches? Your answer should contain a single number, the grand total value of all Arthur Clarke books in inventory and the author name Arthur Clarke.

Query III:

Create a query that shows all books with a publisher Code of BB or PB. Please be sure to include the fields of author name, paperback book, book title, publisher name, book price and publisher code in the query results. Do NOT use the inventory table in this query.

Report :

Develop a customized report based on the answer to Query III. This customized report should include an appropriate title at the top of the report. Group the report using Author name. Each time the author name changes, I’d like to see the average of those books as well as a subtotal for those books published or copublished by that particular author. At the end of the report (Very bottom), I’d like to see the Final total of all book prices listed. You will need to do the report as landscape to get all fields to fit as well as make some adjustment to the width of the fields in the Design view of the report Be sure that your information is appropriately labeled.
