Encephalopathy & cirrhosis:

Low Protein, sodiumrestricted, fluid-restricted to decrease the amount of ammonia produced from protein waste. Hepatitis: Regular, highcalorie, high-protein

Soft, high-calorie, low-CHON, high-fat, small frequent feedings. KEEP THE NASAL CANNULA ON WHILE FEEDING
