The importance of first aid training and basic life support in my course. As a dentist in the future, I believe that first aid training and learning basic life support is important for many reasons; first it is the responsibility of an employer for the safety of the employees especially while at the workplace. One of the best ways for employers to meet their legal and moral obligations to their employees is to provide first aid training to employees. Second learaning first aid and basic life support will prevent your families, relatives, or colleagues from dying or on this way you cannot just stare on someone stranger calling for help and you do not have a choice but not to help him or her because you do not know what to do. In the future we do not know when will emergency happen, so in order to become ready or fully aware on what we can do to save our life or others too, we need to learn first aid training and basic life support, because it creates a more positive work environment, it reduces workplace accidents through awareness, and it helps us to have a faster response during an emergency. Not only that, but it also creates safety in the workplace, employees benefit from others around them receiving first aid training because it keeps them safer. Besides the benefits to employers that we’ve already noted, a safe work environment is an attractive benefit for employees. Next is that it promotes safety even at home just what I have said a while ago, training in first aid is just as useful outside of the workplace. Knowing first aid could someday help to save the life of a friend or family member. First aid training is especially important for anyone living with someone at risk of cardiac arrest. And lastly, it is also important to know what we are going to do when we are alone to survive, first aid training can teach employees how to properly use first aid kits, and to stay calm during an emergency. These skills are important for providing first aid to others, but for employees who work alone these same skills could help buy time until help can arrive....
