Catalog Description:
!Analysis of physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms of health and illness.
Course Objectives: 1. Apply selected concepts and theories of physiological changes in clients of different ages and cultures foundational to advanced practice nursing. 2. Analyze the implications of selected pathophysiological disorders on client health. 3. Analyze the impact of intervention strategies on the delivery of health care to clients of different cultural groups. 4. Apply theories of physiologic alterations for identification of at-risk groups. 5. Apply select physiological and pathophysiological research findings to the practice of advanced practice nursing.
