EXPECTED OUTCOMES Patient will remain afebrile throughout hospital stay.
INTERVENTIONS 1-Observe for localized signs of infection at the wound site.
Patient will verbalize understanding of importance of preventing infection to perineal area.
2-Encourage use of peri-bottle after using the bathroom.
Patient will heal in a timely manner.
