24% of students are from low income families. The teacher let each student say their notice or wonder. She did ask one student to stop what he was doing in a polite way. One student did not agree with another on their answer, this was brought to attention in a casual way and done so appropriately.
56% of families are low income families. The classroom is accessorized with age appropriate detail. There are supplies on each table. Classroom bulletin boards with photos of the class in the classroom. Decorations seem to be gender neutral
13% are low income families. The classroom is set up with tables for groups with office chairs on wheels. I feel as if this is a relaxed learning environment for the high school age students. Some historical heroes are posted around the classroom.
