ONLINE FOOD ORDERING SYSTEM CHAPTER-1 INTRODUCTION AIM: To construct the problem statement and develop an “ONLINE FOOD ORDERING SYSTEM”.

PROBLEM STATEMENT: Online food ordering System (OFOS) has design to manage the order and delivery of food. Problem occurs when Customer are arriving night time to buy food and unexpected events. The efficient planning and management of an ordering system is the key to providing a proficient delivery system. Online food ordering systems should ensure accessibility at an acceptable cost and comfort, in an environment-friendly manner for the order of customer and delivery by deliveryboy. Additionally it encourages patterns of growth by providing easy access. Hopefully this system improves customer service and satisfaction.

MODULE-1(ADMIN): This module allows the administrator to view the order placed by the customer and address to be delivered .This module also allows the admin to allocate an delivery boy to deliver the food item to address specified.

MODULE-2(CUSTOMER): This module allows the customer to select thier favourite food from list of food items.After Placing the order an summary report will be generated to check whether they have ordered correct with total amount to be paid.They also can make a phone call to a delivery boy to check the status of delivery.

PROBLEM ANALYSIS: This system requires an admin to keep in touch with the system to watch the order placed by customer and delivery food items to address specified during order.All these details require watchoften.

OBJECTIVE: 1.Develop Online food ordering system (OFOS) to adapt customer to place order and save data easily. 2. To assist Admin to efficiently plan and manage their online food ordering system. 3. To save user data and information efficiently in real-time data retrieval

CHAPTER-2 REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

PRODUCT PRESPECTIVE: The proposed online food ordering system will take care of the order placed by customer,delivery boy to deliver food at any point of time. After placing orders,customer will be updated with delivery boy to know the status of order.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT:  Front end: • Java  Back end: • SQLite HARDWARE REQUIREMENT:  8GB ram  1.2 GHz processor  Intel i5  Windows 7/8/8.1/10

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT: Order: Ordering is an facility available to the customer in an app through which they can order food.In this requirement they can order their favourite food from list of food items.after ordering a summary will be generated to confirm the order. Contact: Contact is an facility available to the customer in an app after the order made has been confirmed by customer.After Bill has been generated,along with delivery boy ph-no will be displayed.Customer can make an phone call to check their status of order and delivery.

CHAPTER -3 USE CASES AND USE CASE MODEL

USECASE DIAGRAM: This use case diagram is a behavioural diagram that shows a set of users and actors and the relationship between them.

PURPOSE: This diagram addresses the use case view of the system and is very essential in modelling the behaviour of the system. Description: There are two actors namely customer and admin.Customer can order food item from list of foods without arriving to hotel.After ordering food, an summary report will be generated to confirm the order placed by the customer.On confirming the order Customer can make call to know the status of Order and delivery....
