Medication is given through oral administration, available in tablet and oral solution form

PURPOSE FOR TAKING THIS MEDICATION -

Medication is combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen; it is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. The acetaminophen helps in increasing the effect of the oxycodone.

PATIENT EDUCATION WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICATION

Educate patient and family to report any side effects immediately, such as difficulty in breathing Educate patient not to operate any h machinery or drive while taking the medication Inform patient to not discontinue opioids, they need to be tapered gradually
