In relation to government power, the issue of legal protection for the people against the government. In article 1 paragraph 3 of Law Number 13 Year 2003 concerning manpower, it describes workers or hunting. There are two work agreements, namely, a Fixed-Time Work Agreement and an Unspecified Time Work Agreement. If in a work agreement the entrepreneur makes a Termination of Employment (PHK), namely the termination of the employment relationship due to certain things that results in the termination of workers' rights and obligations, it is very important to provide legal protection for the worker or laborer. The purpose of this paper is to find out how to protect the rights of contract workers who have been laid off from the company and the legal protection of workers who have been laid off themselves.
