Day by Day, I am always tormented by the opinions of others. My actions, my looks, everything is influenced by people who will have absolutely no influence on me in the future. They won’t matter to me yet I still stress about their opinions. As a person with self-respect, I am declaring myself free of the people who judge me, the obstacles that hinder my true ability.

Everyone in the world has the right to live their lives in the manner that they desire to live it in, and they should be able to do so without judgement. The superficial aspects of character should not be this severely judged. From now on, I will not adhere to this confinement of my character, and I will live my life to the fullest. I will act the way I want, talk to the people that I want, dress the way that I want, without a single care about what someone else should think of me. I am freeing myself from the negative opinions of others.

Though this may be a regular part of peoples lives, why should I do so much to be independent from the opinions of others? They have made me lose confidence in myself. I used to feel that could never live up to the visions that people had of me. They made me work hard to fulfil a persona that I could never be. They destroyed the image that I currently had just to build an image of perfection that I could never attain. From now on, I declare myself independent of all opinions relating to me, and I pledge to live my life in the manner that I wish...
