How media influences substance use As much as the media has been significantly useful in spreading information about the down effects of drug abuse, it has also been at the forefront in encouraging its usage. Through music, celebrities, and social media, such information is shared about people enjoying alcohol (Jackson et al., 2018). Many alcohol companies use the media platforms for advertising ether products, which increases awareness, and more people being addicted. There is also alcohol use in television, in movies, and occasionally exposed positively, as a way of life. Health risks and benefits of alcohol The benefits of alcohol are small and can also be achieved through sparing use. Some of the benefits include reducing the deaths from heart illnesses, diabetes, and ischemic stroke (Goel et al., 2018). On the negative side, alcohol abuse could lead to:        

INTRODUCTION

The main elements that influence alcohol abuse are the psychological, biological, and social risk factors, which result in the alcohol use and abuse problem. In a close examination, the social factors involved include cultural norms, family, partners, fitting in, and connections (Staiger et al., 2020). Many communities across the globe promote alcohol use in normal living and significant functions. Nonetheless, in modern error, alcohol is used for recreation, where many people meet, and in celebrations. In many cases, many people have had to consume alcohol due to peer pressure.

Many people around the world are addicted to something and, in many cases, a drug. Drug addiction can lead to psychological, emotional, and physical issues, affecting individual health. The brochure covers alcohol abuse, the most abused substance in the whole world. As per statistics, over 86 percent of persons above 18 years in the United States have taken alcohol at a point in their lives (Smith et al., 2017). There are many kinds of alcohol, but most individuals consume it for recreational purposes. Excessive and prolonged alcohol drinking can lead to several illnesses and even death. It is fundamental for each individual to practice healthy habits for a healthy society

On the other hand, psychological elements include copying with emotions, stress management, triggers, routines, and paired activities. Many people have drinking habits, taking the case for those who have to consume alcohol every weekend or before bed. Many of the psychological elements influence addiction. Biological factors include reward, relief, withdrawal symptoms, and physical addiction. In many people, alcohol use results in stimulation in the Endocrine Gland, with some hormones like Estrogen, Testosterone, and Cortisol
