Reactions in Aqueous Solutions
Objective- The purpose of this experiment is to determine the unknown contains acquire knowledge. Introduction- Qualitative analysis involves carrying an unknown mixture of different compounds through a series of chemical reactions. Materials- seven metal ions, six reagents, ten drops of each ion.
Procedure1. First I place wells over the grid. 2. Then I put 10 drops of each ion across its corresponding row. 3. Then I put 10 drops of each reagent down its corresponding column. 4. I compare the results of known ions with each reagent to the unknown. 5. The one that matches is my unknown.
