Religion a Form of Salvation 1. Religions of salvation was a great deal for the Persian Society a. The Persian society’ religion was a very noticeable influence to the CrossCultural development of Persian society i. The Persian’s religion came from the lost close religion of the Aryans of India. Their religion is very similar physically and mentally development. ii. The Persian’s language is very particular but very similar to others societies. However, their primary language came from the IndoEuropeans languages iii. Zoroastrianism became very popular and extended in the Persian society. The Persians have a lot of faith in them in the classical era of the Persian empires iv. Islam, Christianity, and as well as the religion of Judaism were highly influenced more about the Zoroastrianism faith, beliefs, and they become more influenced on their values just as much v. The Persian empire also inspired other religions as Buddhism, and Manichaeism as well. These religions reverse their faith to converts theirs in the Persian empire just as much as any other empire b. The teachings of Zarathustra and his long living faith i. The Persians have centered their attention to the things that they care about the most. ii. Things like the extraordinary and very natural elements from our mother earth. iii. Things features such as the sun, the water, the moon, and more insensibly fire is very celebrated by them from the gods and for the gods c. The Persians had the gods that they believe on. The ancient Aryans, must of their priests did performed many death in sacrifices mode that were very common to the sacrifices that the Brahmins in India did too i. Haoma was a hallucinogenic agent and method that the priests from Persians, even made to use in ceremonial sacrifices almost the same way that the same Aryans used soma, and indeed the two concoctions that for sure were used by the priests of the Persians ii. Like pretty much the same Aryans, the very ancient Persians society were full of faith and glorious strength, and martial virtues. iii. They also enjoyed the used of their cults celebration for the both peoples sought privately used to bring about a comfortable existence for their practitioners.

2. The faith of the Zarathustra a. The classical era of the Persians society’s religion went under because of every change as the moral and religious thinkers sought i. To well and get adapt their messages of faith and morals to their bad and good circumstances of the very cosmopolitan society ii. Zoroastrianism, is from the teachings terms of the very self of Zarathustra. Zarathustra was a very historical person and was the very subject of the many societies’ stories. iii. However, there are not records about his career choices and his persona as well. That information about his very persona did not make to survives at all. Where he was living before is a mystery. The latest information about him is from scholars, which they just measure his life to the very late seventh, and early six centuries BCE. iv. Others, however, said that he lived between 1200 and 1000 BCE. v. There is information that he was related to rich and royal aristocratic family vi. Many guesses that he was a priest who became in love and in faith with the very traditional religion, which contains a lot of bloody sacrifices and mechanical rituals that were very cruel b. If we really guess, it can be said that he was maybe twenty years old. He might have leave his family and his home in search foe wisdom, faith, and peace i. He did travel for about twenty years, it can be said that he might have seen the light and visions. ii. He became the very convinced that the “supreme god,” which admired and called Ahura Mazda, did choose him to serve to his community and serve as his prophet and engaged people to listen to his message from the very god itself 3. The Gathas a. Zarathustra’s life was very much alike with his doctrine as well. His doctrine was proven to be very elusive for the early modern life of the societies. i. Many of his Zoroastrian methods of teaching were run to seed because many of the priests known as magi, he decided to doing verbally to the people ii. Magi began to broadcast and began to preserve the religious texts in writing and only in the early Seleucid dynasty era iii. They also compel the holy book known as the Avesta because it was only under the Seleucids did the book got its writing iv. Other than that, a lot of the Zarathustra’s writing did survive because of the magi did maintained them with very special care of diligence through oral transitions

b. Many of Zarathustra’s works were in honor of his immerse, and huge various duties that he recognized as variable. This were known as the Gathas i. Just like the Gathas, Zarathustra’s was part of that as well. The old Zoroastrian literature was included with hymns, liturgical works, and the treaties as well ii. Some of this art works still god and preserve, plus the arrival of Islam in the seventh century C.E. which declines of Zoroastrianism did cause the loss of the Avesta and later of the Zoroastrian works as well 4. The popularity of the Zoroastrian Teachings a. Ahura Mazda was look as the good. It was admired and respected by Zarathustra and his followers look up to Ahura Mazda as a god and protector i. However, Zarathustra did spoke six lesser deities, which he praised Gathas ii. He believes that Ahura Mazda was in a spiritual deal with good versus evil which he compared with an independent adversary describe as “destructive spirit” iii. He believes that Ahura Mazda had the forces of doing good, and that the principle of the evil would disappeared forever b. The popularity of Zoroastrianism i. Zarathustra did not really quit in doing the world a favor for the future existence ii. He loved the world and thought that all materialistic things were a blessing for the world...
