1. Create a new Matrix Table question “How often do you perform the following activities?” 2. Change the Automatic Scale Points to Never – Always. 3. Task 3 – Skip Logic In this task we will use Skip Logic to adjust survey flow, based on respondent’s previous answers. We will also meet validation that can be used to force respondents to answer a question and use the Slider question type. Help?   

Search Qualtrics Support for: Skip Logic Validation Slider

6. Add Skip Logic to skip the “Why do you participate in sport and physical activity…” question if the answer to the “Because I like competition…” statement from the matrix question is “Never”. 7. Apply Force Response validation to the “How often do you perform…” question (from Task 2), to ensure the respondent completes this question. 8. Add appropriate Page Breaks to the survey then preview the survey and test. 9. Write a new Slider question: “Use the sliders to indicate how effective you think the Cardiff Met Sport App is at…”.   

Add some response options, e.g. “Marketing Fitness Classes”, “Advertising Opening Times”. Enable the Snap to Grid option for the question. Add appropriate Labels to the slider.

Task 4 – Display Log Logic ic & Piped T Te ext We will now add appropriate Display Logic to your survey to ensure the respondents only get asked questions that are relevant to them. Piped Text can also help to make a survey more readable by inserting situation-dependent text Help? Search Qualtrics Support for:  Display Logic  Piped T Text ext 1. Add appropriate logic to your questions i.e. if some of your participants identify that they do not currently use the fitness classes at Cardiff Met, you cannot ask them to rank their favourite classes. Rather, you might add appropriate Display Logic and ask them a question about why they do not currently use them
