Description

What are the Key Success Factors of this company? Key Success Factors are defined by the market and by the customer, not by the company.  Shaw Go WiFi is an extended network that now has nearly 75,000 access points across western Canada and more than two million devices registered.  As mentioned before, the mobile phone industry is growing. With the recent acquisition of WIND by Shaw, it's been the primary contribution of revenue in the last quarter report.  The recent release of internet 150 provides the best value to those who look for faster speed internet. Because of the slight price difference of the internet 30 and 150 ($40 and $60) this could be an attracting factor for customers to join Shaw.

Forecast the sales revenue for the next three years. Explain with your rationale. Use critical thinking skills not an average of the last few years. 

- steady increase in overall revenue over the last few years - the recent investments into Shomi and X1 could see some success after some time (X1 offers a seamless viewing experience across multiple screens and devices) - although they gain from the new investment and the growth of WIND, they are likely to see their decline in the use of landlines

Your recommendation for the future of the company This is your group’s future plan & the most important section to the management team. They want to know if you can come up with realistic, objective, successful strategies. You may not agree with the company’s planned future strategy  Focus on the development of WIND, the canadian govt household stats prove that less people are using landlines, more people are using mobile phones.  Develop Shomi, over the past few years customers subscription rates have fallen for cable and satelite services, there is a growing rate of people who are using services such as Netflix (65% of anglophones between 18-34 years old)  Maintain the promotional offers for students, regular customers, and businesses. Since the rollout of the internet 150, there's been a growing popularity for people to upgrade their current internet to a higher speed, currently it’s the cheapest in BC for that service. The biggest competitor Telus offers

internet 150 at $75/month while Shaw offers it at $50/month for the first year and increases to $80 afterwards on a 2 year plan....
