The motor and speed controller choice will greatly depend on the type of driving you want to do and how much money you are willing to spend. Parts to Print Parts with _SP in the file name require supports. Frame or Frame_V2 --- choose 1. V2 is weaker but gives more room for esc and battery. Knuckle or KnuckleV2 --- choose 1 left and 1 right. V2 gives more sensitive steering Ski V3 ---- Print 2 Ski hook V3 ---- Print 2 Steering rod ---- Print 2 Front Cover or Front cover left/right half ---- print Front Cover if it will fit on your printer. Left and right half can be glued together if your printer wont fit the whole object. Skid left/right full or Skid front/back ---- if your printer can fit then print the “full” version, if not then print front and back for left and right. Rear Roller ---- Print 2 Track double paddle ---- Print 19 Track Single Paddle ---- Print 19 ALL OTHER ITEMS ---- Print 1 Track Note: There is now included multiple options for the track pieces. Make sure to match the track you choose. For example: Track_Double_Paddle_Short will go with Track_Single_Paddle_Short. The options with _flex in the file name are if you are printing in TPU. They do not have a tab on the side for holding the pin in, instead you will stretch the side over the pin.

This is a fully 3D printable RC snowmobile. This was designed from the very beginning with easy assembly and minimal purchased parts as the goal. I think I have accomplished that goal. Everything is printed except for: Electronics, screws, bearings, and shocks. It can be printed on a print bed 200mm x 200 mm or larger. Most items do not need any supports but there are a few that will need some. Many of the parts of my design are inspired from other snowmobile projects that I have seen. I have reached out to those that some of my work might resemble. If you feel something looks similar to your work and you did not receive a message from me please reach out to me. Nothing in my design is a modified version of others work, All of it was hand made by me, but some may still resemble that of images I used for reference. Disclaimer: Due to printer abilities being different and always changing, and the nature of an off road vehicle there is a good chance you will break parts. Luckily they should be easy to reprint and fix rather quickly. I will do my best to provide support through discord and if files are found in need up improvement I will do my best to improve and then include for free for those who have purchased the snowmobile.
