Anthony is planning on going in two weeks. 3) What did Anthony ask about Seattle? (10 pts.) Anthony asked about what different things there were to visit or do in Seattle. Lon explained that there was the Space Needle, Pike’s Market, and ferries that went to the islands, such as Olympic National Park and Victoria. Anthony asked if it was expensive to eat in the Space Needle, and Lon said it was expensive, but it the food was really good. Then Anthony asked about Pike’s Market, and Lon said that there was a many different items, such as Native American items, antique items, and even items imported from across the globe. The last thing Anthony asked about was about the ferry rides. He asked what the cost was to go on the ferries. Lon said it would depend. If you went on with your car, it would be more expensive, but if you went just as your own person, it would be about $25.

On Friday night, he and his friend were picked up by a limo at the airport. Then they went to a famous place. Later in the evening, they went to a party, and they drank lots of shots. Much, much later in the evening, they left and went to bed, and slept for the rest of the night. 6) What did he eat for lunch on Saturday? (2 pts.) For lunch, he had a light lunch, and had fruits and raw vegetables. 7) What did groups of people do on Sunday? (3 pts.) There were different groups who went to do different things. One group went snowboarding, one group went skiing, and another group went ice fishing.

Page 120 – The Signing Weekend 8) In Signing Weekend, what did they do all weekend? (10 pts.) On Friday night, all the students started arriving. Once everyone was there, they had a meeting about what was going to happen on Saturday and Sunday. That night, they registered and began hanging out with one another. After some time, there was a speech. Once that was done, they all went to bed. In the morning on Saturday, they all went to eat breakfast. After that, there were four classes. The first one was for fingerspelling, the second one was for stories, the third one was for vocabulary, and the fourth one was for classifiers. Each class took one hour each. At noon, everyone dispersed to go have lunch. Once lunch was over, they all came back to do different activities. One group went hiking, another group went boating, another group went swimming, and another group went to play volleyball. At two o’clock, the students came back, and for about two hours, the practiced for play that night. After they were done, they went to go rest, and eat some food. After their break time was over, they all performed their little skits with each other. When everyone was done performing, some went to go rest for the evening, while others hung out and chatted with one another, before they were done at two in the morning, and then they went to bed. Sunday morning, they all got up and had breakfast and began conversing with one another. Once they were all done with that, everyone gathered together, and they all received little graduation certifications for the weekend. After that was all done, they all went home....
