Based on tax records, Chris gave his life savings to charity  Contacted law enforcement to find Christopher. FBI Arrested co-worker.  Paddle down the river, wait 12 years or go with licensed guide.  Ignored officer and took liberty to do it himself, didn’t care about the potential risks associated with going down the river.  Meet a “hippie” couple, true nature believers.  Chris always driven an adventurer, when 4 years old wondered 6 blocks from home at 3:00 AM, found at a neighbor’s house going through candy jar.  Crossing the border  Caught train to escape from border patrol.  Los Angeles  Establishing new Identity as Alexander Supertramp. As walking though city, sees himself in many of the “scenes”  Catches another train, beaten by railroad employee.  Magic Bus – Week 7: The sense of feeling free, in the middle of the wild, ALONE in the wild…Almost a year since Christopher’s disappearance, sorrow in the family, pain between family brings family closer together. Killed a moose  resentment and anger towards the family.  Chapter 4: Family: Meet a girl  Meet her at a performance  Walk to the salvation, believes in love.  “If you want something in life, reach out and grab it.”2  Magic Bus - Week 9: River crossing, lost his footing and became nearly impossible.  Final Chapter (Finding Wisdom): Alex meeting Ron Fran, (Older gentleman, spent most of his life in the Army) Chris: believes that employment is a 20th century invention, doesn’t feel he needs one.  Doesn’t consider traveling, more into his leatherworking skills. Chris believes that Mr. Fran should get out and explore more, tells him he should get out try new experiences. Plant consumed  could lead to starvation and even death.  Mr. Fran offers to drive Chris, wherever he needs to go.  Hands him a box of things to survive in Alaska.  “Happiness when shared” written in book.  Thoughts of what if he was smiling.  Died in Alaska, hunters found him two weeks after his death. Family flew up to Alaska with the Ashes of their son. (Sad Ending) Religious  Enlightenment through his encounters with people....
