Psoas major Oorsprong: wervellichamen Th12-L4, processi costarii L1-L5, pezige bogen gespannen tussen disci vertebrales Insertie: achterzijde trochanter minor Functie: → wervelzuil: lateroflexie, anteflexie → heup: anteversie (vanaf 90°), adductie, exorotatie (bij gespannen mm. glutei) → vormt iliopsoas samen met iliacus

Psoas minor Oorsprong: wervellichamen Th12-L1 Insertie: op het pecten van het os pubis & lig iliopectineum Functie: → wervelzuil: lateroflexie → heup: flexie

Iliacus Oorsprong: fossa iliaca (behalve meest ventraal & caudaal deel), ook klein kopje op capsula art. = tensor capsulae art. Insertie: trochanter minor, distaal van psoas major Functie: → heup: anteversie, adductie, exorotatie (bij gespannen mm. glutei)

→ vormt iliopsoas samen met iliacus

Piriformis Oorsprong: facies pelvina sacri, lateraal van foramina sacralia (S2-S4), sacro-iliacaal gewricht, os ilium, lig. sacrotuberosum Insertie: mediale zijde van top van trochanter major dichtbij gemellus superior en gluteus minimus Functie: → heup: exorotatie, abductie goed vb. van omkering functies & van omkering oorsprong-insertie

Gluteus minimus Oorsprong: ala ossis ilium, tussen linea glutea anterior en inferior Insertie: laterale zijde trochanter major (voorste vlakje) Functie: → heup: anteflexie, retroflexie, endorotatie, exorotatie

Gluteus medius Oorsprong: ala ossis ilium, tussen linea glutea anterior en crista lilaca, lang achter tot aan linea glutea posterior Insertie: laterale zijde van trochanter major (vlakje juist achter gluteus minimus) Functie: → heup: anteflexie, retroflexie, endorotatie, exorotatie

Gluteus maximus Oorsprong: ala ossis ilium, achter linea glutea posterior tot op buitenlip van crista iliaca, spina iliaca posterior superior, laterale boord sacrum, os coccygis, mediale ½ lig. sacrotuberale, onderste deel van opp. blad fascia thoracolumbale & opp. blad fascia van gluteus medius Insertie: tuberositas glutea femoris (breder naar proximaal & distaal) Functie: → heup: exorotatie, retroflexie, adductie, abductie Obturator externus Oorsprong: oppervlakkige zijde van membrana obturatoria, ventrale deel van kader (ramus ischiopubicus) tot aan canalis obturatorius Insertie: fossa trochanterica, aan basis van trochanter major Functie: → heup: exorotatie, retroflexie (minder sterk), adductie (minder sterk)

Adductor magnus Oorsprong: ramus ossis ischii, vooral op onderzijde tuber ossis ischii Insertie: middenste lip linea aspera, vanaf niveau van trochanter minor tot aan distale ⅓ + (peesboog = haitus tendineus adductorius) Functie: → heup: exorotatie, adductie

Adductor brevis Oorsprong: ramus inferior ossis pubis (ventraal van oorsprong obturator externus) Insertie: mediale lip linea aspera, tot onder het niveau van trochanter minor Functie: → heup: adductie, exorotatie, anteflexie

Pectineus Oorsprong: pecten en ramus superior ossis pubis Insertie: linea pectinea, verlenging naar distaal van trochater minor Functie: → heup: adductie, exorotatie, anteflexie

Adductor longus Oorsprong: tuberculum pubicum Insertie: middeste ⅓ van mediale lip van linea aspera Functie: → heup: adductie, exorotatie

Gracilis Oorsprong: rand van ramus inferior ossis pubis tot aan symphysis Insertie: middenste teen van pes anserinus, aan mediale zijde van tibia Functie: → heup: adductie, anteflexie, exorotatie (minder sterk) → knie: flexie (bij gestrekte knie), endorotatie (bij gebogen knie) Quadratus femoris Oorsprong: laterale rand van tuber ischiadicum Insertie: middenste lijn van linea aspera van het niveau van trochanter minor tot aan crista intertrochanterica Functie: → heup: exorotatie, adductie

Obturator internus Oorsprong: binnenzijde van membrana obturatoria en haar beenkader (behalve sulcus obturatorius) Insertie: mediale zijde van trochanter major, vergroeid met gemellus superior & inferior Functie: → heup: exorotatie, retroflexie (minder sterk), adductie (minder sterk)

Gemellus superior & inferior Oorsprong: onderste helft spina ischiadica Insertie: mediale zijde van trochanter major (naast obturator internus), vergroeid met obturator internus Functie: → heup: exorotatie, retroflexie (minder sterk), adductie (minder sterk)...
