Spring 2017 Strategies for Math 112 Final Exam Preparation 

Students have access to a 110-question study guide on the Math Department Algebra website: (http://math.arizona.edu/~algebra/math112)



Divide study guide into 4 study sessions o Session 1: Every other odd (1, 5, 9, 13, etc.) o Session 2: Remaining odds (3, 7, 11, 15, etc.) o Session 3: Every other even (2, 6, 10, 14, etc.) o Session 4: Remaining evens (4, 8, 12, 16, etc.)



Session 1 o No notes, no tutors, no help o Use only a calculator and well-organized scratch paper o Complete in approximately 90 minutes o Grade yourself o Get help AFTER you have completed all problems in Session 1



Sessions 2, 3, and 4 o Repeat the process from Session 1 o Take a break between each session o Breaks should be at least a few hours
