Environment Strengths What are the company's advantages? Dunkin’ have tapped into large markets with over 13,000 restaurants and are in 46 countries and has grown to be one of the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world. What does the company do well? Having “to-go” items for breakfast. What relevant resources does the company have access to? A great supply chain management and a strategic measures to ensure they remain relevant to the audience. Opportunity

Where are the good opportunities in front of the company? What are the interesting trends, the company is aware of? Adopted Eco friendly policies. For example, changing from polystyrene cups to paper cups. Offering healthier options, adding plant-based options to their menus. Expand market presence and Combining revenue streams like Baskin-Robbins into some of Dunkin restaurants and contracting with the military. Adopting strategies that seek to help the community and will be hiring 25,000 new employees.

Weaknesses What could the company improve on? FY 2019, Nearly half (46.7%) of the revenue generated from the US market, Thus making Dunkin vulnerable to economic challenges in the market. What does the company do badly? Poor marketing targeting outside the US. The chain was struggling in Indi, attributed to poor understanding of non-Americans leading to poor strategies.

Threats Does the company face obstacles? Yes, intense competition from Starbuck, McDonalds, Krispy Kreme Profits are always under threats especially with the COVID 19 pandemic. Increasing HealthConsciousness: The ever-increasing number of health-conscious consumers threatens fast-food chains including Dunkin’ Donuts. Since Dunkin’ mostly has unhealthy fast-foods, customers can migrate to competitors offering healthier options. What is the company's competition doing? Starbucks continues to dominate the market with $13.3 Billion in sales revenue and Dunkin’ having only 33% of the market and $32 million in sales revenue with Krispy Kreme having $20.8 million in sales revenue. Thus Dunkin is in the middle of their market.

Dunkin is community centric; they provide eco-friendly products which has earned support from customers and support the communities with the Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Foundation that supports the children in their communities for hunger, safety and Opportunity

Weakness What should the company avoid? Having a lack of variety and having to rely primarily on coffee and baked products which places limits on Dunkin to a small limit on food products for customers, Reducing or streamlining products in specific areas also limits the number of customers. Threats Are the required specifications for the company's job, products or services changing? Food products have been added, such as Smoothies and lactose free items. More healthy items do need to be added if they want to increase their customer base. Is changing technology threatening the company's position? No, however, with the pandemic did have an effect but not bad. After reopening in areas were limited to take out only. Which did cut into profits. Does the company have bad debt or cash-flow problems? It could be in the future if they continue to rely on the US markets. They had decreases of Administrations expenditures due to COVID Could the company's weaknesses seriously threaten the business? It is believe not so, since Dunkin was recently acquired by the Inspire Brands group....
