TASK 2: Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. It’s controversially discussed that advertisements persuasively get customers to buy products, while some people say that they hardly attend to it due to its vast popularity. I argue that advertising potentially attracts far more customers as the novel progress in technologies have been rapid in recent years, then, in the following essay, I will express my opinion about this typical topic. Advertising plays an important role in a business, because of its contribution to an increasing number of sales. To commercialize successfully a product, it requires many factors to draw customers’ attraction, which then affects their buying behaviours. Some companies repeatedly broadcast their products on relevant social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, et cetera or display them in the half-time between two programs on television. That makes a great effect on customers’ perception of purchasing a brand new product. Additionally, products that are endorsed by influencers are broadly advertised to more people, especially the younger group as they are more likely to be susceptible to celebrities such as singers, actors or models. Companies take advantage of this social behaviour to attach more people to their advertisements to maximize the number of products sold. On the other hand, the more frequent advertisements are displayed, the more likely people tend to overlook them. In the digital age, human has to absorb a sheer volume of information all day. So, it’s essential to prioritize what is first important to do and get rid of unwanted data. That’s the reason why there is no place for junk information, particularly the advertisement is negative and badly influencing. The high frequency of commercials appearing outrages to people whilst they are reading online news or watching a video on social platforms. It’s due to the fact that advertisements are less attractive to the public. In conclusion, advertising in various approaches greatly contributes to the growth of sales in a business. However, in some aspects, surpassed the number of advertisements could make people pretend them....
