The Environment in Anthropology In the reading of the book “The Environment in Anthropology” written by Harnish et al., show us a quick view to understand the ecology, culture, and sustainable living. In the chapter "A Wonderfully Incomplete Bibliography" we have a short reading about a list of different organization, activist and solutions where for reasons of physical space the list is incomplete. It is important to know that this list was recommended by the Anthropological and Environmental Society, The following is a list of the organizations that most caught my attention:  Anthropology and Environment Society (blog from anthropologist on environmental problems)  Beautiful Solutions (online solution lab to make grassroots movements more creative)  Center for Political Ecology (political ecology scholarship and advocacy)  Center for Popular Economics (political economists who put tools to fight social and  Cultural Survival (support for indigenous communities’ rights and equity)  The EcoTipping (Stories and community to fight against natural disasters)

 Idle No More ( peaceful movement to protect indigenous water and land)  Research of degrow (Association to fight along with different organizations to rise awareness of the degrowth topic, liberty, social justices, ecological economics, and social sciences in general)  Rights and Resources (develop of the economical of indigenous people, and benefit of the natural resources they are used)  We are Power Shift (empower for the youth climate movement)

In fact, I chose the We Are Power Shift organization, this network is formed by 80+ member organizations, 15+ national and regional youth convergences and 30000+ young people trained and connected. Their mission is to mobilize collective power of the younger generation to create a clean energy future. The want to do a change on power, whether it is electrical, social, economic or political. Their model of working is creating memberships with groups, where they work on different programs, capacitation and different ecological activities. One of the work the havemade is Power shift Convergences, Pipeline

Resistance (against the carbon oil energies) Youth Climate Justice, and Fiscal Sponsorship Program. I decided to choose this organization, basically because I believe strongly in the change that younger generations can generate. So we need to see this generation united and with the clear mind of all the damage that has been done to the planet. That's why I think it's important that these generations fight against the damages that are already almost irreversible, that they generate new ideas and that there is a change of attitude to have an optimal future for the good of nature)....
