Fassbender participates in excessive sex activities and toils with his sister intrusion into his usual life. His divulgence in this film has marketed the shamed film as a cinematic view of sexual behavior, which has turned to be a compulsive behavior. The sex phenomenon in this film, therefore, has portrayed some traits of muscle creation, which is a different form of exercise. Sexual addiction in “Shame” film comes with a highly fragile and problematic creation of heteronormative muscles, which has constantly maintained Brandon masculine being. This paper, therefore, aims at discussing the relationship between sex and exercise as it is illustrated in the film “Shame.” Brandon's sexual behavior begun as a way of emotional fulfillment where he participated in the behavior as a way of having fun. His long time addictive in this behavior has shifted his mind to a different form of thinking where he thinks of attaining and maintaining a specific form of masculinity, which in general describes sex behavior as a way of excise. 2 situations of muscle difficulties to emulate the public models.2 His behavior brings a clear relationship between exercises and sex where his pursuit in the film is being characterized as a form of sex competition and also professionalism. His urge of masculinity for the sake of being in the front line as a model makes him remain submissive to sex work for the sake of maintaining his masculinity wellbeing which a requirement in the model industry. The film presents Brandon’s sister as a feminine representative who is being characterized by traits of emotionality, dependency, and fragility. Her brother, on the other hand, hates and objects all forms of emotionality describing them incompatible and never displays masculinity that he claims they never help him achieve his desires of having a masculine body.3 Brandon sees sex as something different from emotions and only relates it with a form of exercise. He has built muscles in his body out of being sexually obsessed. He sees his sister sissy as a bother in his life since she does not have sex as he does and she is full of emotions and fragility. The film uses Brandon to show us the actual relationship between exercises and sex. Almost at the end of the film, several instances generate attention to the easiness of exceeding maximum levels of the demarcated groups of masculine identity. This section considers how the females end up experiencing different forms of exercise like muscle building, which are tied with traits of vulnerability. The building of muscles, as expressed by Raewyn, clearly shows the relationship between sex and exercise which in turn is characterized by aggression, strength dominance, and heterosexuality. Brandon in the film has taken both themes of sex and exercise that makes the combination compatible through the displayed illustrations in the whole film.
