The Remarkable Rocket Summary The remarkable rocket that was going to be released along with others at the prince’s wedding, was arrogant and narcissistic. It treated everyone badly and it was ignorant about others’ opinions. Consequently, the remarkable rocket ended up being thrown into a ditch. (Wilde, Oscar. 1888) As the Princess had never seen the fireworks, the King ordered to prepare a firework display at the wedding. However, the remarkable rocket even assume that the prince is fortunate since he was to be married by the time as the rocket was to be set off. (Wilde, Oscar. 1888) On top of that, he was quite ignorant while having conversation with the other counterparts. When the others tried to give not to get wet, he refused to follow as well. (Wilde, Oscar. 1888) Finally, he was not released during the wedding as he was wet. Meanwhile, the others were released into the sky and successfully explode.
