The'brain'researches'Dr.'Omalu'and'Dr'McKee'seem'to'have'very'utilitarian'approach' to'the'whole'crisis.'Their'intention'is'to'spread'the'word'out'and'inform'the'people'about' the'existing'and'very'serious'issue'about'playing'football'at'any'level.'Perhaps,'the'best' example'of'utilitarianism'in'this'case'would'be'Chris'Nowinsky,'a'former'NFL'player'who' now'assists'Dr.'McKee'in'her'research.'On'the'other'hand,'NFL'is'implementing'short/run' profit'maximization,'which'is'basically'preventing'financial'losses'from'the'concussion' crisis.'Such'approach'tends'to'be'one'of'the'most'unethical'in'terms'of'representing'the' interests'of'all'stakeholders.'In'this'case,'the'NFL'disregards'the'NFL'players'and'their' health,'physical'and'mental.' As'a'man'far'from'football,'I'think'that'this'game'is'extremely'dangerous'in'the'first' place.'With'the'evidence'presented'in'the'documentary'I'am'only'getting'more'confident' about'my'opinion'about'football.'Nevertheless,'NFL'acted'extremely'negligent,'unethical' and'disrespectful'with'respect'to'the'former'players'and'perhaps'the'public'as'well.'Since'

football'is'such'a'popular'yet'violent'game,'it'is'crucial'to'maintain'safety'standards'of' some'sort.'Denying'any'safety'concerns'about'the'game'in'order'to'maintain'high'profit' margins'is'not'an'ethical'approach'in'business,'although'it'is'very'common,'unfortunately.'...
