This was a period where African American musicians, artists, and writers made creative ways to ‘’express’’ their own experiences of being a different race and color in the U.S. Their contributions changed American culture forever.
Fundamentalism:
Was a religious point of view on the belief of biblical events and what was exactly described. The time where they went away from traditional values worried the Americans, which led to the fundamentalist belief.
New Roles for Women: Women started to go to college and started to become nurses, started to teach, and do social work. Many women also thought they deserved to have the right to vote and have economic power.
