To Whom This May Concern, I happen to be a second year student in the Questroom School of Business at Boston University. In learning more about this role on your website, I found that you place a lot of attention on being energetic, highly sociable, and having excellent interpersonal skills. With these qualities and my extensive experience of brand imaging I think I would make an outstanding candidate for the Wings Team. As a student of the Questroom School of Business, my course load and clubs I participate in have allowed me to become acquainted with the relevant areas of business marketing. Through the Guerilla Marketing Society I’ve had the opportunity to work as a volunteer consultant for Berts Footwear, an EVA shoe brand that’s based in Australia. Working within a group we’ve been assigned the task to develop a marketing campaign which Berts footwear could hypothetically use to launch their new shoe-line. Through this process I’ve been exposed to many practices and skills I believe would be highly applicable to my role on the Wings Team. Some of these practices include conducting consumer research to position their brand, employing guerilla marketing techniques through all communication mediums, and organizing events to showcase the shoe. Considering this role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to many people in different situations, I see myself fitting in very well, for I attend one of the most diverse and international institutions in the entire country. Everyday, weather I’m participating in a fraternity philanthropy event, collaborating with another artist to produce music, or what have you, I interact and work alongside people of different ethnicities that come from all over the world. I am very proud to have this benefit and would hope to exercise this privilege as a member of the Wings Team. I believe that I would be an asset to your team.
