Class  Your participation is essential to your success in the course  Participate in discussions in Blackboard and also keep up with the lectures and content Assignments/Tests  ALL assignments are to be submitted as specified.  Assignments and tests not completed before the deadlines posted will receive a mark of zero unless advance notification has been provided, outlining the extenuating circumstances, and proposing alternative arrangements. What is the best way to contact your professor? Email is best. It is very important that when you send your professor an email you always give your full name, student ID# and the class and section you are in. If this is not done, it will be difficult for instructor to assist you.

IBM program coordinator? For 1st year students: Professor Obada Al-Dimashki ([email protected]). For 2nd year students: Professor Phil Cohen ( [email protected]).

Can I switch sections? No. Section changes are not allowed across the whole Business School.

Can I swap sections with another student? No. Section swaps are not allowed across the whole business school.

Can I ask for grace marks to improve my letter grade? No. Grace marks are not allowed. Please don't ask your instructors for grace marks.

I am confused with my grade. What should I do? Contact your instructor and ask to review your grade with them.

Can I request a leave of absence (marriage, vacation, visit, etc.) from the program? No. You cannot take leave of absence unless you have a medical situation with documentation.

Can I take a break for a semester and return the semester after? Yes. You will have to fill in a readmission form with the program coordinator and submit it to the International Student Office.

What can I do if I disagree with my final grade? Grade appeal. Note this may increase or decrease your grade depending on your case.
