Workshop 1: Introduction to PBL Workshops

Your first in-class workshop session is going to be divided into two sections: assigning you into teams and projects, and going over the overall workshop structure for the semester. Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session you should be: 1. 2. 3. 4.

allocated to a PBL team randomly assigned a ‘problem’ for your project able to describe the structure and assessment of the workshops able to schedule a date for your first after-class team meeting.

Various activities will be carried out in-class to help you understand the learning outcomes. The learning material will be released here once all workshop streams have had their Workshop 1.

Please make sure you have gone through the pre-class activities in Block One of the student learning journey (the Home, Introduction to PBL and PBL Project tabs) before attending your first workshop.

Homework: Before you attend your second workshop, please make sure you have gone through the ‘after-class’ activity of Block 1, ‘Pre-class’ activity of Block 2, and completed Assignment and Meeting Minutes 1....
