Description

How to Create a New User in Workware OR to move a User from one team to another, or remove a User for data validation (without reassigning), just complete step 2 1. Create a New User/Staff Member Within Workware, go to Administration > Set Up > Staff Members Click on ‘Add New’  

First Name should be the first and last initial For example, Abigail Smith would be AS Last Name should be the 5-digit Team # NOTE: The team # can be found by looking in the drop down under ‘Team’ Do NOT assign the User to a team at this time, via the ‘Team’ field Position should be Supervisory or Production; NEVER Technical Employment Type should always be either Full Time or Temporary Default Working Time – enter 450 minutes per day for Days 1 through 5

2. Assign newly created Staff Member to a team Within Workware, go to Administration > Maintenance > Team Members 1. On the left hand side, click on the team that you would like the newly created Staff Member to be assigned to 2. Click on the Unassigned/newly created Staff Member on the right hand side and move to ‘Assigned’ by clicking the arrows in the middle NOTE: These steps can also be used to move an existing Staff Member from one team to another. You will first need to unassign the Staff Member from the current team; placing them in the ‘Unassigned’ bucket on the right hand side. Hit Save. Then, re-assign the Staff Member to the new team using the arrows in the middle. 3. Set up account / assign newly created Staff Member to a team Within Workware, go to Administration > System Admin > Accounts Click on ‘Add New’  Name will be full name, spelled out  Description should be Westmont RTM Staff; see how others are set up  User Name will be first name.last (Abigail.Smith)  Password – generally use Workware@1 After entering the fields above, click on the drop down under ‘Staff Member’ and select the User just created in step 1. Hit Save. 4. Set up User permissions/security Within Workware, go to Administration > System Admin > User Permissions Search for the User by clicking on ‘Get Users

Roles: select only ‘Team Member’ for Staff/Senior level. For Manager and above, select ‘Management’ ‘Team Leader’ AND ‘Team Member.’ Workgroup: select 20000 JLL Westmont...
