Written report DESCRIPTION OF COMPANY: FreshCo is a discount supermarket chain which is owned by Sobeys. It was launched in March 2010. There are total 98 stores across Ontario and Western Canada. FreshCo has lot of products such as Bakery, frozen, dairy, deli, foods, general grocery, meat and poultry, produce, seafood and snacks. All the products are on cheapest price. The aim of this company to offer customers fresh and high-quality food. Most of the food is cheaper in FreshCo as compared to other stores. Talking about the slogan name of this company “Fresher Cheaper”, it shows the quality of the food and cheapest price as well. It also provide to customers “Double Fresh Guarantee”, if customers not satisfied with products so they can easily exchange and refund. FreshCo is competing with No-frills and Food Basics. The headquarters of FreshCo are in Mississauga, Ontario Stellaerton, Nova Scotia. The aims of FreshCo to offer customers fresh and high-quality food on cheapest price.

THE IMPACT The service of fresh co has a positive impact on its customers and on its own business, as fresh co provides all products at low rates as compare to all other grocery stores and it attracts the customers. Moreover, the atmosphere of fresh co is totally relaxed for both employees and customers. It increases the efficiency of workers. Apart from this, it provides great offers, discounts on special occasions. As we all know that more customers attract by giving some freebies. Fresh co has all ingredients from other foreign customers. So, more international students are connected with it.

You already know FreshCo is committed to help you to save on your groceries” Freshco’s marketing strategy can be inspiration for many other companies when such a huge retail company can amend themselves to suit market conditions, other business can also adopt similar strategy to attract more customers and move forward in the field of business. So this is how freshco has amazed us with its various product mix and business strategy to reach out to customers in a much easier and comprehensive way.
