Michael Jackson was a multi-talented musical entertainer who had a successful career as well as a great career with the Jackson 5. During 1982, Michael released 'Thriller,' which went on to become one of the best-selling albums of all time, and he also had number-one hits with '“Bad” and “Off the Wall”.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958. Jackson began his musical career at the age of five, thanks to his father's influence. Katherine Jackson, Jackson's mother, was a homemaker and a fervent Jehovah's Witness. Joseph Jackson, his father, was a guitarist who gave up his artistic ambitions to work as a crane operator to take care of his family. Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy, and Janet Jackson were among the ten Jackson siblings all of whom left their mark in the music industry.

Michael released a series of solo albums while still singing with the Jackson 5. His solo career didn't really take off right away, although he did have a couple of hits, including "Ben" and “Got to Be There.” However, while working on the set of the film The Wiz in 1978, Michael met music producer Quincy Jones. He left the family band and began work on his first "adult" album. Michael desired a bigger record to follow off “Off the Wall”. This was going to be a big job. He collaborated with Quincy Jones once more on the album Thriller, which was released in late 1982. The album was a huge hit. It had seven top ten singles and was nominated for eight Grammys. Thriller would go on to become the best-selling album of all time. James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, was Michael's major influence and favourite performer. James' intensity and charisma on stage astounded Michael. He admired James' dancing, especially the way he moved his feet so naturally when he performed. That is most likely the reason to as why Michael Jackson dances while performing too. In the writer’s opinion, me, I love Michael Jackson. I think he is an amazing artist and person. I think it is a shame his reputation and legacy would be destroyed by the lawsuit against him after his death allegedly claiming that he was a paedophile. Something that was never proven, and now people that don’t read about it just views Jackson as a creep. I listen to his music all 1
