I have a little bit a relationship experience with my past high school relationships and even though I have a lot to learn, I have a decent grasp on romantic relationships. I actually enjoyed reading through the chapter and the notes because I realized how much stuff I did not know about. One thing I enjoyed learning was the 5 love languages and how doing certain things with your partner can strengthen your relationship. Two things I like to focus on in relationships is Quality time and Acts of service. Spending real quality time with someone helps get to really know someone and to get to know their views on certain topics. I always like seeing how people think and how they see the world, which is something I look at when getting to know someone better. Relationships, romantic or friendly, should be give and take not just take. Both sides of the relationship should help each other with service or by giving gifts and compliments. If one person is doing all of the work in the relationship, it obviously isn’t working out. Romantic relationships also take commitment and communication if they wish to succeed. If both sides cannot properly communicate frequently and effectively, it is hard to build a strong relationship. It is important to build relationships that are strong because we cannot live without them. Building these strong relationships takes time and effort, but are worth it in the end. If we are committed to each other, communicate effectively, and both give/take we can build relationships that could last forever....
