Description

ACT 1, SCENE 1 ROMEO AND JULIET ANSWERS 1. He describes the plot in the prologue because he wants us to have a better understanding of what ACT 1 SCENE 1 talks about and also to give us a head start before the readers even start to read. Even though we already know what happens, it's best to read the story again to be refreshed and to remember and add to what we have already read and learnt. 2. I believe the participants in the street brawl are adults. A similar situation is when a two part group In an election debates of which is the right pa th to take to develop the nation. The princes way of handling the brawl was good because he prevented any battle between the feuding families. If he was here right now I would have said to him "...even though you managed to handle the brawl peacefully you should also be careful what if you were cut down by their sword...." He would listen because I'm caring for his safety. 3. Lines 205-210 suggests that Romeo is looking for someone to love . His attitude here is that he is out of options such that he is imagining his ideal woman or love. 4. "...Hi Romeo you shouldn't be worrying about what kind of love you want or the woman you want to be with and love just live freely who knows your love will come to you. TTYL By the way good luck..." 5. - Abram- Montague's servant who fights with Sampson and Gregory -Benvolio- Montague's nephew, Romeo's cousin and a thoughtful friend. He makes genuine effort to stop violence. -Tybalt - Vain and aggressive -Lady Capulet- Wife of Capulet, prevents the fight by stopping her husband -Capulet- Husband of Lady Capulet, wants to fight Montague -Lady Montague- wife of Montague, prevents the fight by stopping her husband -Montague- Husband of Lady Montague tries to fight Capulet -Romeo- Son of the Montague, intelligent, Aristocrat If I was casting for a movie I would choose Benvolio, Romeo, Tybalt, Capulet and Lady Capulet, Montague and Lady Montague and Romeo. In my notes i would write that each Character should act out their inner characters best. The director would underline the word peace that would be emphasized when spoken.

6. ' Tis well thou art fish; if thou hadst, thou hadst been poor-John. Draw thy tool , here comes of the house of Montagues.' PARAPHRASED " This is not your target; If you hadn't, you hadn't been dried salted hake. Draw you sword the Montagues are coming." 7. The mythological gods signifies that Romeo is in love. The mythological gods remained so popular to the readers because it shows us or allows us to know when the characters are in love. 8. If a friend is trying to get out of her problems by lying or blaming someone else with her own mistake, I would persuade him or her to do the right thing even though it would create problems for that person. But if a friend tried to persuade me to do something that might bring me trouble , i wouldn't do it because if I'm in trouble, I'm not so positive that friend would try to everything to get me out of that trouble and because I wouldn't want to ruin my own image for the sake of that friend....
