ADJETIVOS Funcionan como post-modificadores del sustantivo  Califican, cuantifican y ordenan al sustantivo Comparativo

1) Adjetivos de una sílaba Hard= duro/a Nice (*)= lindo/a Big (**)= grande

Superlativo

adjetivo –ER THAN THE adjetivo-EST harder than= más duro que the hardest= el/la más duro/a nicer than= más lindo/a que the nicest= el/la más lindo/a bigger than= más grande que the biggest= el/la más grande

(*) Los adjetivos de una sílaba terminados en –E agregan –R en el comparativo y –ST en el superlativo, es decir, no duplican la –E final.(**) Los adjetivos de una sílaba que tengan una consonante + una vocal + una consonante duplican la última consonante antes de agregar –ER en el comparativo y –EST en el superlativo.2) Adjetivos terminados en -Y adjetivo-IER THAN Pretty= precioso/a prettier than
