Dear Sir/Miss Application for Business Loan Referring to the subject mentioned above, I, Syahmi Danial bin Eddyson, a marketing manager from Aiskrim Beraneka Rasa Enterprise, wish to apply for a business loan with MARA to start a business in selling the Ice Cream products. Aiskrim Beraneka Rasa Enterprise is selling ice cream yogurt. We are providing highquality customer service and satisfaction. The main objectives of our product are to become a delicious ice cream for our customer to make their choice around Kuantan. There has been a high demand for our products in Kuantan for a long time and this is our motivation to develop our business. The company plans to offer high quality products for affordable and reasonable price for the customer. Our company located in a city area Kuantan. The reason that we choose city area it is because they can attract a lot of people at there. This area also closes to institutions, factory and house area. It is also an options for students to buy this ice cream yogurt before back to their home. We plan to take advantage of our business location by reaching out to the current residents in the area. We made a study that everyone will eat sweet foods such as desserts which is ice cream, to relieve fatigue or stress every day. Industry Profile Yogurt ice cream is a dessert business for customers to eat without any doubt or fear of their health because yogurt provides many benefits in one’s body. Nowadays, the ice cream business is easy to find everywhere but the yogurt ice cream business is hard to find because this ice cream is specially created with its own unique advantages. Therefore, this yogurt ice cream business is in very high demand in the area of our business location as many young people love this healthy dessert. But there are also companies that sell yogurt ice cream but not many but the price we offer to customers is affordable and homemade quality.

In addition to that, we have some reasons that attracted us to start this business and its location.There are: (a) We observed that Kuantan area is lack of ice cream modern products especially our brands which are ice cream yogurt. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to our business to be established in this area. Our company will be the first one to introduce ice cream yogurt. Before, the other company

introduce just frozen yogurt not ice cream and we believe that this will be able to attract customers due to their curiosity to new brands. (b) There are crowd in this area because it is a city in Kuantan. Due to the surrounding our company strategic near institutions, factory and housing, our targeted customers can be kids, teenagers and adult. As we know, most kids are attracted easily to the ice cream. Meanwhile, our ice cream products will be a choice to the diet person because yogurt according for diet person. Last but not least, the institutions student will feel interest to our ice cream yogurt products because they need it as a snack to reduce stress during study hours. 1.8

Future Prospect of the Business First of all, I would like to improve our quality of workers in the company. In order to upgrade and provide better quality services to our lovely customers, we plan to hire experienced workers which have working experience as waiter and waitress. We will also implement an employment probation period system. The employment probation period system is a time frame used to determine whether a new hire will work out. During this period, we will observe the newbie’s characteristics including politeness, responsible, honesty and others. Besides, we plan to provide training to our employees such as manager, accountant, waiter and waitress to let them have more knowledge and more professional in their own scope of works. It may be to invite professional bodies to give some advices and trainings. Once the business is commercially stable, we would like to open branches and expand our business in the other prosperous area.
