Instructions For Fieldwork Project (Week 1 & 2) Title: A Holistic Approach Analysis on ________ Task 1: Create your interview questionnaire in this wiki space. Step 1: Choose any 3 aspects (given below) to analyse holistically. Think how they can be linked or they can affect each other. Eg: Choosing Economy & Food & Health is logical. Usually how much (Economy) money you have determines the (Food) type & quality of food you buy and this will determine your (Health) state of health and your (Health) state of health will then determine (Economy) how much money you can earn (asset) or how much money you will spent on doctors/medicines (expenditure). Choose any 3 aspects from the following: Economy system, Food & Health system, Education system, Family & Marriage system, Political system, Social Life system, Religion & Magic system, Social Stratification, The Arts Step 2: Formulate interview questionnaire. Guide: 1. Identify the respondents (who will you be interviewing) as it determines the types of questions to ask. Eg: Chosen: Orphanage for Children Chosen Aspect: Economic System Question: How much donations does the shelter receive in a month? For this question the kids in the shelter cannot answer but the administrator can. You can ask the kids this question: How much pocket money you receive a week? Do you have your own savings? Do you get to keep money given by visitors? 2. Identify the sub aspects/topics for each aspect. Eg: Economy system For the Administrator: Funds & Assets (Donations in various forms, vehicle, buildings etc), Expenditure (on Food, Health, Clothes, Rental, etc), Labor (salary), etc You have a question on (Economy) expenditure on Food and Health because another aspect you have chosen is Food & Health....
