APUSH Learning Opportunities Monday, May 11 – Friday, May 15 Good evening my wonderful APUSHers! You are an incredible group of students! I have been so proud of you this entire year, but especially now as you have risen to the occasion and absolutely knocked it out of the park. This is the week to do some last-minute exam review and preparation. Please, please, please email me any questions that you have ! Get ready to rock the AP U.S. History Exam!! May 11, Monday    

Friendly reminder to submit Exam Review: 3-5 Important Points for each Unit --Units V, VI, and VII and submit to [email protected]. If you are missing any other Learning Opportunity submissions, please submit to [email protected] If you have not reviewed the three documents I posted this past week to Moodle (APUSH Exam Information, DBQ Tips, DBQ Rubric), please do so. Study Units III-VII. The Unit Class Handout Packets are extremely useful. So are the Lecture Notes. The Timelines by Topic are helpful. The AP US History College Board videos that you have watched are good, too. We have been preparing for this exam all year. Relax. You ’ve got this!!

May 15, Friday: EXAM DAY!! Woohoo        

Get up, eat a good breakfast/early lunch Go over the DBQ Tips on Moodle and the DBQ Rubric on Moodle Last minute looking over of material Find a quiet place to take the exam Ready everything for the exam I usually high-five everyone on the way in to the exam, so see below! Click your e-ticket at 12:30 pm to check-in for the exam! Allot 80 minutes for the exam o 30 minutes to enter your AP ID, name, and other information o 50 minutes to draft and submit your response

Take the AP Exam at 1:00 PM       

Breathe Focus Understand what the question is asking you to do Plan your essay Write Stay focused and finish strong Submit your essay
