Based in the article of The Impact of Business Process Reengineering on Organizational Performance Journal of Management and Technology by Yusuf Adebola Bako in 2019. The main issues have found in the research is to explain how the BPR can assist businesses in making innovative and strategic improvements and to assess the impact of BPR on organisational performance and to develop a strategy for BPR implementation and to assess the role of information technology in implementing BPR in order for a company to meet its objectives. Hence, inadequate and inflexible operational processes were discovered in the research data to be the cause of poor operational performance indices in financial institutions. Other than that, employees do not fully comprehend what business process reengineering is all about, according to the research, nor do they understand the crucial success criteria that drive the project's successful implementation which is a problem identified in the data. According to studies, firms' incentive and reward systems should be adjusted to account for benefits like as wage increases, promotions, and empowerment. According to studies, there is a considerable positive association between management commitment and innovative strengths, where management commitment is a measure of BPR and innovative strength is a measure of competitive advantage. The study suggested that focused organisations' management commitment should lead by example in change processes to encourage their followers to buy into the concept. Regarding to the study's findings, BPR is an effective tool for any company looking to improve its performance. The research says that the re-engineering process is still an excellent tool for companies looking to run more efficiently. According to the article, the study used a variety of approaches to come up with a hypothesis in the company that business process reengineering had a substantial impact on innovative and strategic improvements. As a result, we find that business process reengineering has a considerable impact on the organization's quality service. As stated in the paper, the most important aspect for reengineering is the human activity system within the firm compare to another elements. This includes education and training, as well as top management's encouragement and assurance that workers are capable and eager to take responsibilities. Business process reengineering assists organisations in addressing new economic issues and increasing customer satisfaction. As a result, BPR is a tool for examining and then redesigning present business processes and company components in terms of performance, quality, and improvement to the company's objectives. The conclusion in report, reengineering business processes has a big impact on how well a company performs. Business process reengineering has been an important part of any company looking to improve their own organisational performance while also pursuing a cost leadership strategy in its industry and environment. In order to achieve breakthrough performance and a longterm strategy for organizational growth, businesses must reengineer their business processes. As related to the article “Business Process Reengineering as the Current Best Method for Improving the Business Process” by Zuraida Zaini and Aslina Saad which is published in 2019. They published an article that are comparing four key methods, namely BPR, Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, and Kaizen, to determine the most relevant methodology for the business process to accomplish corporate goals. The study determined that, among the four approaches examined, BPR is the most efficient in assisting organizations in achieving their business objectives. The researcher stated in this article that these four techniques each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but the most important thing is to pick the appropriate methodology to build for the business process. The study found that when selecting a methodology, an organization must consider several factors relevant to its business process, such as the level of business risk, duration, person involved and investment cost. Furthermore, BPR has developed a transformation to aid a firm in enhancing its 2

strategy and methodology to be successful in business. In this article, the researcher was able to evaluate and compare various organizational approaches. Aside from that, the contribution of BPR prioritizes accuracy in methodology selection over all else because it increases the likelihood of success. The comparative findings show that the BPR was the greatest of the four methodologies analysed, as it could help an organization's overall business process massively and holistically improve. In our opinion, among these four methodologies, BPR is the most important and applicable to business processes because it provided numerous benefits to the organization to keep the business process going smoothly. In addition, BPR is appropriate for improving business processes because it aims to integrate all departments into a comprehensive process designed to achieve a specific business goal. Besides that, it is critical to define the specific change that is required and to anticipate the extent to which such a change can have an impact to embrace such changes and confront any problems. As a result, determining the sort of change and the tools available to aid in implementing the desired change is critical. The benefit of this research is that BPR has played a significant role in assisting organizations in rethinking their regular activities to improve customer service, reduce operating costs, and be a first-rate competitor. In conclusion, when the inherent strengths and weaknesses of four methodologies were compared, BPR emerged as having a significant advantage over the other three and BPR entails rethinking business operations, which can greatly reduce the cost of goods or services. Just because it involves all aspects of the business by analysing, improving efficiency, and redesigning existing problematic or weak methods, BPR has the potential to bring about significant overall change in an organization.
