A. 1. Ester C is trying to express to Dr. Herrera the importance and relativeness of medicine and the humanities in a person’s life. She is dying because of cancer and suffered tons of pain from the hands of professionals and medications. The doctors were so cold, impersonal, and professional as she said and that what makes her humanity ceasing away from her body, because what she also needed aside from application of pharmalogical knowledge was a warm human heart that truly cares for what she felt at the moment of time. By this letter, I have learned that we must not forget our humanity, no matter where we are and how professional we are in lives. When a person is experiencing difficulties in life, we must be them and help them seek for the healing as an art of love. After all, these professionals must see the ugly truth of the world to appreciate the true beauty of humanity.

2. Dr. Herrera’s main point was to develop the whole visions of man in the eyes of all the students who are studying to become professionals one day. Being a professional requires a lot of scientific knowledge to cure something but seeing the wholeness of a man is an art of humanity that we cannot deny to love. It is important that we perceive the relativeness of Humanities and Medicine to achieve a greater commitment in serving and helping people. 3. As an aspiring accountant, we are used to deal with mathematical equations and to solve for transactions of businesses. It is significant that we never forget our

humanity within ourselves whether how professional and luxurious we are. Furthermore, we must remember that the problems that we are trying to solve are also a big challenge for the owner and associates of the business, hence we must apply our humanity in restoring their assets to achieve a greater purpose.
