Introductory Speech Hello, my name is Sheldon Boyer. I am a 1st year student at NOVA. This semester, I am studying Art Appreciation and Principles of Public Speaking. My long-term goal is to obtain a PH.D in Communications and not to find employment but to become a global motivational speaker. I work in the United States Marine Corps. I like this career because at the end of the day the benefits and comradery I have here is the best for me and my family. One of my favorite pastimes when I am not studying or at work is boxing, working out, and playing basketball. I have several hobbies, but I especially enjoy writing, listening, and dancing to music. This gives me a lot of satisfaction because it clears my head. I was born in Garden City, Michigan. The most notable thing about my family is even though we separated nothing can tear us apart.
