Your understanding on how to balance your group dialectics...

Description

Explain your understanding of balancing the group dialectics from your experience working in groups. Group dialectics meaning is members’ personal goal is the same or balance with group’s common goal. What is important of working in group is collaboration and cooperation among members in other to get the work done and achieve the common goal. We are used to work in different group and able to meet different character of the group members. In my understanding after the group formation, all of the members must understand on what of their roles to be in a particular group. That is why everyone should understand the component in group communication which start from selection of members at the early stage of formation, then would be the interaction among groups members in other to discuss of everyone roles and duties. Then, it is followed by the group interdependent which everyone is contributing their efforts based on what have been presented in their ideas during the interaction stage. Their working will be the result of their ideas for whatever effort they have contributed and come up with whatever result whether the particular group is able to meet their common goals or not. All members must to contribute the ideas and a result must be obtained in other to balance the group dialectics. As in the early stage after the group formation, all members have to share and exchange the ideas between one another. During this period, we have to trained ourselves to be opened as there are different ideas to be presented later. A leader is appointed to guide the group all the way until the group has meet their common goals. Everyone do have their own different opinion, therefore, ever member have to discuss on which topic or ideas that will be chosen. The end of the meeting, a result must be obtained as everyone is agreed. The decision must be taken at a fair view which meet everyone satisfaction. Then, different roles may be specifically at a different expertise, which everyone can pick their own works based on their own interest. Therefore, the leader is there to guide his/her member in other to ensure everything run smoothly. It is much easier to do something by our own interest. For example, not everyone can do video editing and if any of our member have such expertise, then we should rely on him by assisting him to get all the sources. An attractive and informative video then can be his/her personal goals. While the others are expected to have a good report which meet and match to the video so that everything can be seen as synchronised. Everyone has the right to choose their own parts,

however the leader must guide and there to evaluate his/her group members to get all the work done is aligned.

The other thing to consider to balance the group dialectic is to get the members satisfaction. As I mentioned before, working in group must be at a fair view which everyone should have the same treat. The common goal is cannot be achieved when the group cannot meet the satisfaction among members. Therefore, it is important to have a good communication so that we are free to speak out and discuss among all of us . A good communication may lead to members’ satisfaction and balance our group dialectics. So that our common goals were also can be achieved as it is balance with members’ personal goals....
