BATTLE OF THE BRAINS A. OBJECTIVES

1. Challenge the participant’s and expand their knowledge and understanding about facts, information and current events in Mathematics, Science and Computer/ Information Technology. 2. Test students’ accumulation and retention of knowledge in real life situations. 3. Enhance and develop the knowledge and skills of the students about what they’ve learn in their perspective subjects. 4. Encourage independent study and academic excellence. 5. Build self-esteem. 6. Empower students with the new understanding of what has been, what is now, and what can be. 7. Build courage and self-confidence to achieve positive aspects.

B. GENERAL RULES:

1. The contest is open to all Grade 4, 5 and 6 students officially enrolled at Ina ng Buhay Catholic School (INCBS). 2. Each level should have ten (10) participants. They will be group into ten (10), each group consists of one member per each level. 3. Members must wear their school I.D. at the time of the contest. 4. Members must be at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the contest. 5. The coverage of the quiz bee are as follows: a. Mathematics b. Science c. Computer/ICT

C. CONTEST PROPER MECHANICS

1. Only recognized participants shall be allowed to take the contestant’s seat. 2. In case a regular member fails to come, no replacements shall be allowed. One (1) member for each participating team is enough to proceed to the contest....
